transcosmos has received the following comments celebrating the opening of this new center.
Kengo Oishi, Governor of Nagasaki Prefecture
“Congratulations on the opening of transcosmos BPO Center Nagasaki Stadium City. I also would like to extend my sincere gratitude to transcosmos for employing as many as 1,500 citizens of Nagasaki and Sasebo cities, which is one of the largest-scale initiatives in our prefecture. The new center is transcosmos’s fourth base in Nagasaki. We understand that the center is designed for providing services that combine BPO and DX, and that you plan to employ information-related talent to drive DX to enhance operational productivity, conduct AI research and development, and other highly specialized work. We, Nagasaki Prefecture, are prioritizing the development of information-related talent, and we appreciate that the new center will create employment opportunities for such talent. We also have high hopes that you will deepen collaboration with educational institutions including Nagasaki University that are located in the same office, which will open up new possibilities. Working as one with local governments, Nagasaki Prefecture will continue to support transcosmos in growing together with our communities through its successful business operations.”
Shiro Suzuki, Mayor of Nagasaki City
“My sincere congratulations on the opening of transcosmos BPO Center Nagasaki Stadium City. You opened BPO Center Nagasaki in 2015, followed by the second center, BPO Center Nagasaki Chuo in 2020. Today, the company employs nearly 900 people together, contributing to the development of the local economy and expanding local job opportunities. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support. In the new center just opened, we understand that you will work on developing new digital-powered services that will enhance operational productivity. We believe that will strengthen the competitiveness of local companies that face challenges such as rising costs and a labor shortage. As you plan to employ about 400 people in three years after the center opening, we have high hopes that the center will serve as a potential workplace for IT talent—people who local higher education institutions are developing. In partnership with the prefecture, we will fully support you to make the new BPO Center Nagasaki Stadium grow as your critical business base. Lastly, we wish transcosmos’s continued success, and all the best for all related parties.
