Audiokinetic’s Wwise Automotive enables a new standard for immersive in-car audio in CHANGAN’s new NEVO E07 electric vehicle

Audiokinetic’s Wwise Automotive, an interactive audio engine for car manufacturers, was instrumental in the designing and implementation of in-car audio for the NEVO E07, streamlining the workflow for CHANGAN Automobile from prototyping to production, and enabling a new level of interactive and immersive environment to be achieved. Setting new standards for in-car audio, the user experience is transformed with the following applications:

Spatial Warnings: Through intelligent spatial sound, Changan drivers receive real-time, directional audio cues to enhance situational awareness and safety. This allows for an intuitive response to potential hazards, and road conditions.Ride Sonification: Wwise Automotive adapts to real-time driving conditions to create a dynamic soundscape, providing an immersive entertainment experience adjusting to the environment, speed, driving style, and more, to deliver a more engaging and enjoyable ride.Engine Sound Generation: Changan NEVO E07 is fully electric, so Wwise Automotive allows sound designers to create custom engine audio, simulating the feeling of engine performance inside the vehicle with a unique sound profile. Outside the vehicle, this real-time sound generation provides increased safety for pedestrians and a unique branded sound signature for the vehicle.
