Streaming Service Available in 9-State Region Beginning Tomorrow October 24
NEW YORK and DENVER, Oct. 23, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Denver-area sports fans rejoice – after years of hunting to find where to watch Avalanche and Nuggets games live, ViewLift (a leading streaming and monetization platform for sports and entertainment) announces the availability tomorrow of ‘Altitude+’, the new Direct-to-Consumer suite of website and applications that will be the official streaming home of all live local games of the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche. Altitude Sports, the Denver-based regional sports network that is part of the Kroenke Sports & Entertainment family, has worked with ViewLift to provide the all-new over-the-top applications on web browsers, and iOS and Android mobile devices, with more devices becoming available early in the two teams’ regular seasons. In addition to its NBA and NHL teams’ live local area games (non-nationally televised), Altitude+ will include pre- and post-game coverage, full episodes of Altitude originals, and programming featuring Colorado State, University of Denver and Air Force Academy athletics.

Streaming availability represents the latest additional distribution for Avalanche and Nuggets fans, the goal of KSE’s President of Team and Media Operations, Kevin Demoff when he took the reins of the RSN seven months ago. Altitude+ adds another key viewing alternative, complementing existing distribution partners DirecTV, Charter’s Spectrum TV and Fubo, and the 20-game packages available through TEGNA’s 9NEWS (KUSA-TV) and My20 (KTVD-TV).

Altitude+ will be priced at $19.95 per month, and include more than 65 games for each of the Avalanche and Nuggets. In the coming weeks, the app will roll out on a range of TV platforms, and be available as a TV Everywhere service at no additional cost for those who subscribe to pay TV packages including Altitude Sports.
