Owen McShane, retired Deputy Commissioner of the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, comes to FaceTec with a stellar, highly respected career history that has spanned 33 years. Owen has managed countless auto theft, fraudulent document, and identity theft investigations using biometric and cybersecurity tools. His efforts have contributed substantially to the fight against fraud and have had a positive impact on all jurisdictions in the U.S. and Canada.
Owen is also “Professor McShane,” teaching biometrics, identity theft, and cybersecurity at SUNY’s College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security, and Cybersecurity in Albany, New York.
