OUTO.ME allows hotels and resorts to generate revenue with less staff as travel spending and demand for contactless ordering is on the rise. OUTO.ME signs up numerous hotels prior to the 1.0 release and sets a vision for how future releases will address more pain points in the hospitality industry.

SAN DIEGO, May 11, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — OUTO.ME Inc., a leading provider of mobile ordering technology solutions for the hospitality industry, today announced the General Availability (GA) release of OUTO.ME version 1.0. The release is the culmination of two years of full-time software development and market research in the hospitality industry. OUTO.ME version 1.0 provides hotels and resorts with technology that increases revenue while reducing the need for additional staff.

“COVID-19 wreaked havoc on hotels, and travel spending is finally starting to surpass 2019 levels. Coming out of the recovery and seeing growth on the rise, the industry needs immediate solutions that will enhance the bottom line. OUTO.ME generates revenue while reducing the need for additional workforce, making hotels and resorts more profitable,” states OUTO.ME Founder, Jamie Smyth. OUTO.ME provides QR-based mobile ordering technology that allows hotels and resorts to generate revenue from any location on the property, including the lobby, pool, firepit, and in-room dining. The technology minimizes the need for waitstaff to walk the grounds of the property to service guests.

A report by Research and Markets concluded that in 2022 the global market for online on-demand food delivery services was estimated at $95.1 billion and is projected to reach $400.7 billion by 2030, growing at a rate of 19.7%. The increasing guest demand for self-service options and contactless interaction is satisfied by properties utilizing OUTO.ME. Hotels and resorts who adopt technology to accommodate this growing demographic of guests will absolutely outperform the competition.

“The vision for OUTO.ME is beyond just QR codes for mobile ordering. Hotels and resorts are contending with staff shortages and mounting turnover. OUTO.ME will allow guests to scan a QR code to leave a digital tip for housekeeping. Reserving items such as a cabana or paddle boards can be done without needing additional staff. Even valet services can be expedited through QR technology. The hospitality industry needs technology that will allow them to do more with less,” says Chief Operating Officer, Japheth Smellie.

OUTO.ME has onboarded a number of customers during its beta release, including the Westin and Aloft dual property in Dallas, Carneros Resort & Spa in Napa Valley, and Kauai Beach Resort in Hawaii. Being able to sign up customers before a version 1.0 release allowed OUTO.ME to re-invest resources in its development roadmap and follow its vision for providing the right technology to help the hospitality industry propel past pre-pandemic revenue and profitability totals.
