LOS ANGELES, March 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — SprintRay, a leader in dental 3D printing, announces a new application programming interface (API) integration with Align Technology’s iTero™ intraoral scanners.

The direct integration between iTero™ intraoral scanners and SprintRay’s 3D printing ecosystem, including the new Midas Digital Press and advanced restorative materials enhances the feasibility of same-day restorations. Providers can directly import scan data to the SprintRay Cloud by selecting it on the iTero™ prescription form and sending the scan once completed. These steps give access to SprintRay’s AI-powered design services and cutting-edge 3D printing technology to facilitate the production of crowns, veneers, and other dental applications.

The Midas Digital Press, combined with next-generation restorative materials, further refines the workflow by delivering stronger, more esthetic, and highly durable printed restorations. This innovation allows dentists to embrace chairside technology with minimal effort, offering high-quality, patient-ready restorations in a single visit.

The collaboration between Align Technology and SprintRay responds to the evolving needs of modern dentistry and patient preferences, providing an efficient alternative to traditional lab-based workflows. As chairside dentistry continues to gain traction, this integration underscores the evolution of digital dental workflows (in-office or lab-based), offering clinicians more clinical options, efficiency and management of patient care.

The SprintRay and iTero scanners API integration is now available on all iTero scanner models in available markets. For more information about it, please visit https://info.sprintray.com/request-access-from-itero.

NEW DELHI, March 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — South Asian University (SAU), established with the vision of ‘Knowledge Without Borders’, has opened admissions for the 2025-26 academic session. Prof. K K Aggarwal, President of SAU, reaffirmed the university’s commitment to world-class education and expanding academic opportunities across South Asia.

SAU, founded by the eight SAARC nations, has significantly expanded since moving to its 100-acre modern campus near Gurugram. After operating from a temporary location at Akbar Bhawan until 2022, SAU has embarked on a major growth phase. The introduction of a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering in 2024-25 marked the beginning of this expansion. Now, SAU is offering new programs, increasing its academic reach with approximately 1,370 seats available for the 2025-26 session.

Key highlights of SAU’s expansion include specialized B.Tech programs in Computer Science & Engineering with specializations in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Business Systems & Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Data Science & AI. Additionally, a B.Tech in Mathematics and Computing has been introduced to equip students with advanced computational and analytical skills.

SAU has also launched Integrated Programs, such as the Integrated BS-MS in Interdisciplinary Sciences and the Integrated BBA-MBA program, ensuring a seamless transition from undergraduate to postgraduate studies. In alignment with global trends, the university now offers one-year Master’s programs for students with four-year undergraduate degrees, providing an accelerated path to postgraduate education. Expanded postgraduate offerings include an MBA, Executive MBA, MCA, and MS Climate Change and Sustainability, complementing existing programs like M.Tech, MSc (Computer Science), MSc Biotechnology, MA Sociology, MA International Relations, MA Economics, and LLM.

To strengthen research opportunities, SAU has introduced an Executive PhD program for working professionals. Admissions will be conducted through SAU’s entrance test and recognized national-level eligibility tests across SAARC nations, including CUET, JEE Mains, and CAT in India. Candidates from other SAARC nations can take a secure, proctored online entrance test or gain admission based on merit in their qualifying examinations.

SAU has also launched its Virtual Campus, offering online degree and certificate programs, such as BBA (Hons), BCA (Hons), Integrated BBA-MBA, BS and MS (Data Science & AI), MBA, and MCA, along with courses in vocal music, fashion design, and communication design.

Support Latest Post-Quantum-Cryptography algorithms with Cryptsoft’s SDKs

Published

on

By

BRISBANE, Australia, March 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Cryptsoft’s KMIP and PKCS#11 SDKs now include support for interoperable post-quantum cryptography (PQC) algorithms. Cryptsoft’s new PQC-enabled SDKs are an enhancement to its existing market-leading SDKs and include verified and interoperable support for NIST’s (National Institute of Standards and Technology) standardized post-quantum cryptographic algorithms: ML-KEM (FIPS 203), ML-DSA (FIPS 204), and SLH-DSA (FIPS 205).

With progress towards cryptographically relevant quantum computers (CRQC) accelerating, organizations that cryptographically protect their data have been looking to transition from the PQC planning phase to the PQC testing phase for some time but have been frustrated by a lack of PQC-readiness in the available products and technologies.

PQC-readiness in security products has been dependent on standards (NIST, KMIP, PKCS#11, IETF LAMPS) being defined and published and PQC-ready versions of popular cryptographic toolkits (OpenSSL Library, Bouncy Castle) becoming available. With these dependencies now resolved, PQC-ready products including Cryptsoft’s key management SDKs, are now available.

Licensing and implementing Cryptsoft’s latest SDKs with support for all three NIST PQC algorithms offers a clear path for CISO’s and Product Managers to confidently navigate the challenges that will be created by cryptographically relevant quantum computers.

“It has been a long journey from proposed post-quantum algorithms to deployable implementations in the market. By updating our SDKs to KMIP v3.0 and PKCS#11 v3.2, the first PQC-ready versions of their respective standard, current and future users of our SDKs will have the PQC tools to effectively and proactively protect their data assets. With our successful completion of a multi-vendor KMIP PQC interoperability test, Cryptsoft licensees can confidently deploy solutions today that will remain safe in the quantum computing future”

Tim Hudson, CTO @ Cryptsoft
