APIDNA’s no-code AI agent platform partners with apinity’s API Marketplace, combining the strengths of both companies to enable customers across industries, to access compliance-ready APIs and experience seamless instant integrations.

NEW YORK, Oct. 24, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — APIDNA, a pioneer in API and software integrations powered by multi-autonomous AI agents, and apinity, a leading provider of API Marketplace solutions, today announced a strategic partnership. Together, they will deliver a comprehensive end-to-end integration solution for API marketplace users, allowing businesses from diverse industries to seamlessly expose their entire backend ecosystem through APIs, leverage apinity’s Marketplace for API monetization, and utilize APIDNA’s vertical autonomous AI agents to streamline and instantly integrate APIs.

“There’s no AI without APIs—the future of AI relies on effective API integrations, as these connections enable data flow across applications and services,” says Dutta. “As AI processes grow more complex, efficient, scalable, and automated API management becomes essential for seamless integration.”

Unlike traditional horizontal AI agents that offer broad, general automation, APIDNA’s vertical integration AI agents are purpose-built for specific industries, such as banking, insurance, and automotive sectors that apinity serves. These specialized vertical agents deliver deeper, more efficient integrations tailored to industry-specific needs, ensuring higher accuracy, faster deployment, and better compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

“We’re excited to join forces with APIDNA to combine the strengths of our API Marketplace with their cutting-edge AI technology,” said David Vázquez Cortizo, Managing Director of apinity. “This collaboration is a game changer for businesses across sectors, especially those navigating complex regulations like the FiDA or EU Data Act, such as financial institutions and the automotive industry. It also benefits other sectors looking to modernize and accelerate their service offerings. Together, we’ll unlock new opportunities for innovation and revenue growth.”

APIDNA’s platform already automates API integrations for over 300,000 API collections and 250 million APIs on the Postman API network, as well as those compliant with the OpenAPI initiative.

“Our multi-autonomous AI agents are designed to handle API integrations across industries, helping organizations quickly overcome integration challenges,” said Tim Dutta, Founder of APIDNA. “From finance and healthcare to e-commerce and beyond, our agents simplify API complexities and enhance operational efficiency through seamless integrations. This allows businesses to stay focused on their core operations while accelerating their go-to-market strategies. We’re excited to partner with David and his talented team at apinity, who pioneered the specialized insurance API marketplace concept. Together, we’re creating the first fully integrated, end-to-end API and integration marketplace, combining the strengths of both our platforms into one seamless experience.”

Gartner® predicts that by 2028, one-third of interactions with GenAI services will involve action models and autonomous AI agents for task completion. Leading companies like Salesforce, ServiceNow, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft, HubSpot, Zendesk, Twilio and Freshworks, have already joined the race in implementing autonomous AI agents to leverage automation, enhance user experience, and secure a competitive edge in their industries.

There’s no AI without APIs—the future of AI relies on effective API integrations, as these connections enable data flow across applications and services,” says Dutta. “As AI processes grow more complex, efficient, scalable, and automated API management becomes essential for seamless integration. That’s where APIDNA is at the forefront of this shift, transforming API integrations with our multi-autonomous AI Agent platform, which automates the traditionally complex and costly processes of connecting diverse systems. Further, empowering businesses to accelerate innovation and speed to market, reduce integration costs, and fully unlock AI’s potential.”

(ChicagoOctober 24, 2024) – Nationally known author, TEDx speaker and 3M Chief Science Advocate Jayshree Seth, Ph.D. was in Chicago today sharing life lessons from her new book with fellow engineers at the Society of Women Engineers Annual Meeting.

The book, “The Heart of the Science: Engineering Blueprint,” covers a wide range of STEM-related topics in four main sections and is the last in the SWE published trilogy with Seth, which includes “The Heart of Science: Engineering Fine Print,” and “The Heart of Science: Engineering Footprints and Imprints.” The book provides guidance to those in STEM or those considering a career in STEM.

The interactive format of the book provides an immersive experience for the reader with each chapter addressing practical topics, real-life application of the topic from Seth’s career, infographics providing a visual representation of the chapter, and a workbook for the reader to apply the lessons learned in their life. The book serves as the reader’s personal mentoring session with Seth.

In her introduction to her latest book, Seth sets forth her intention for readers.

“I didn’t start my career knowing how to think in ways that empowered me. I had to come into it through transition, reflection, and empowered action,” she writes. “A lot of these exercises ask you to stretch to places and roles you have only encountered in your imagination. It will plant the seeds in your head that will help you cultivate your specific way of thinking.”

Some of the topics addressed include:

Influencing others to impact change    Managing opposition to diversity initiatives    Driving a sustainability leadership mindset    Viewing everyone as a mentor

Unique to this book is the workbook at the end of every chapter, which Seth aptly calls “Draft Blueprints” as they provide readers with their personal draft that they can implement using key points gleaned from Seth’s insights and real-life experiences, crafting a dynamic publication that the reader will find engaging and practical.

“SWE is honored to support Jayshree’s book and her commitment to helping young women entering the engineering field,” said Karen Hortin, executive direct and CEO of SWE. “The latest book serves as the perfect capstone course to her trilogy of invaluable teachings.”

Seth, a corporate innovator, and first-ever chief science advocate, is a prolific inventor, author, speaker and thought leader. She holds 80 patents and provides unique and practical perspectives on innovation, leadership, culture, and careers. Seth was featured in the 3M docuseries, “Not the Science Type,” which premiered during Tribeca Film Festival in 2021. She also received The Society of Women Engineers Achievement Award in 2020.

CFG: UK MEDICAL JOURNAL EXPOSES HEALTH HARM FROM ONLINE GAMBLING

LONDON, Oct. 24, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — A new report published in The Lancet Public Health reveals the urgent need for regulatory reform as the global expansion of commercial gambling is causing widespread and underestimated harm to public health.

A new report in The Lancet Public Health reveals the need for gambling reform as expansion is harming public health.

“As a philanthropic gambling reform advocate, I started CFG as a US-facing site, knowing how disastrous the UK experience of online gambling has been,” said Derek Webb, founder and funder of the Campaign for Fairer Gambling (CFG). “This damning Lancet report confirms my worst fears: the financially-motivated trade bodies and their associated proponents have been responsible for generational harm to individuals.”

The Lancet Public Health Commission calls for regulatory reform to tackle the health impacts of the rapid global expansion of commercial gambling. Key findings include:

Gambling harms are far more substantial than previously understood, exacerbated by rapid global expansion and digital transformation of the gambling industry. Harms from gambling include physical and mental health problems, relationship breakdown, heightened risk of suicide and domestic violence, increased crime, loss of employment and financial losses. An estimated 80 million adults globally experience gambling disorder or problematic gambling. The harms of gambling are not evenly distributed; adolescents, children and those from disadvantaged socioeconomic groups are more at risk. Lower- and middle-income countries are less equipped to regulate the industry and deal with the harms it generates. Effective and well-resourced regulatory controls and international leadership are urgently needed to reduce the impact of commercial gambling on public health and protect progress on UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Stronger global regulatory controls are needed to reduce the impact of commercial gambling on worldwide health and wellbeing, according to the Lancet Public Health Commission.

The Commission brought together a multidisciplinary group of leading experts in gambling studies, public health, global health policy, risk control and regulatory policy, alongside contributors who have first-hand experience of gambling harms. After reviewing the literature, and figures generated from a systematic review and meta-analysis, the Commissioners concluded that “gambling poses a threat to public health, the control of which requires a substantial expansion and tightening of gambling industry regulation.”

“There is an urgent need for a US federal investigation into online gambling, which did not exist when the last gambling investigation occurred in 1999,” Webb concluded.

CFG is an independent gambling reform group with deep knowledge of the gambling sector’s business and lobbying practices in both the U.K. and the U.S. CFG is dedicated to promoting fairer gambling practices through research, advocacy, and reform. CFG exists to equip policymakers with real, reliable data to foster more informed, balanced debates and ultimately smarter gambling policy.
