Total AUM increased 4.2% to $165.5 billion in the quarter, reflecting rising equity and fixed income markets and net organic growth from both Public Markets, excluding PineStone Asset Management Inc. (“PineStone”), and Private Markets. 

Public Markets AUM, excluding AUM sub-advised by PineStone, increased 5.1%, reflecting positive market returns and net organic growth of approximately $200 million.  AUM sub-advised by PineStone also increased in the quarter, as modest outflows from client rebalancing activity were more than offset by market performance.  

Private Markets AUM maintained its consistent growth track record, increasing 1.6% in the quarter driven by new subscriptions of approximately $400 million
