This site is the culmination of a years-long initiative to educate small business owners and the general public on the business sales process and the services that business brokers provide. For several years, the IBBA has been developing and implementing plans to determine what American small-business owners want to know about the business sales process, and how they prefer to learn. With the support of its membership, in 2022, the IBBA commissioned original quantitative and qualitative research of business owners throughout the U.S. The sample represented different regions, business types, sizes and industries.
Once the research was complete, the IBBA started an extensive due diligence process to find the right partner to make their vision a reality. The IBBA selected Consult PR Inc., AKA The Digital WOW, to be their technology partner. With 25 years of experience, the firm provided a robust platform to deliver educational information in dynamic ways.
